Due to the urbanization of Delhi, the former farming village of Bandhwari does not have many job opportunities. The Bandhwari Women's Project provides jobs to women who otherwise would not have work.

First and foremost, we are an organization to promote the women of Bandhwari. We only hire women to sew our products, which helps combat the patriarchal culture in this village.

The women are paid for their labor, providing them with opportunities for economic advancement.

We utilize recycled saris as well as ethical labor practices to create our products.
How can I help?
We are currently seeking sponsorships to cover the tuition and educational expenses of schoolchildren in Bandhwari, ensuring that every child, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a brighter future.
